All design decisions should be based on knowledge of the target market. Sometimes that requires what others would consider plain or boring, but it just right for the target market.

Of course you have to know a lot about your target market in order to base design decisions on their characteristics. I've linked to my site on strategic publications if anyone of your readers would like to learn more about it.</description>
